What we collect, what we don't, and what you can delete.

The short version

We collect the minimum data needed to run the app and improve it. We do not sell your data. You can delete your account, your study progress, and your AI chat history at any time.

If you use the app without signing in, almost all data stays on your device.

02

Information you give us

Account: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email and a stable user ID. We use these to back up and sync your study progress across devices.

AI conversations: when you use Solve AI, Vision AI, Quiz AI, Recite AI, or AI Tips & Tricks, your prompt and any uploaded image are sent to the AI provider you select (Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic). The provider returns a response. We do not retain these conversations on our servers; you can clear local history at any time from Settings.

In-app purchases: handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a confirmation that you purchased a specific product (such as Premium Bundle); we do not see your payment information.

03

Information we collect automatically

Crash reports and basic analytics via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, used to find and fix bugs. This data is associated with an anonymous device ID — not your account.

On Android, advertising information is processed by Google AdMob to show ads to free users. You can disable personalized ads in your device settings.

04

Third parties we work with

AI providers: Google (Gemini), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude). They process your prompts to generate responses, under their own privacy policies.

Firebase (Google) for authentication, Firestore sync, crash reporting, and analytics.

Apple and Google for App Store / Google Play purchases and platform notifications.

AdMob (Google) for advertising on the free tier (only on Android).

05

Your rights

Access: you can view all the data tied to your account from inside the app (Settings → Account).

Delete: from Settings, you can delete your AI history, reset your study progress, or delete your account entirely. Account deletion is permanent and removes all server-side data within 30 days.

Export: email examvocabularyapp@gmail.com and we will send you a JSON export of your account data.

Region: the app is available globally; if you reside in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional statutory rights, including the right to object and the right to lodge a complaint with a regulator.

06

Children

Exam Vocabulary is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app and provided us data, please email us and we will delete it.

07

Changes to this policy

When we make material changes we will post the new effective date at the top of this page and surface a notice in the app on next launch. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
